Ground Yourself With Balance

High on the list of my top six must-have and don’t-leave-home-without-’em oils is Balance, the Grounding Blend.  What, you may be wondering, is a grounding blend? Picture in your mind a large healthy tree that’s been sitting, well anchored, in the ground for decades or maybe even a hundred years.  Through storms and earthquakes, droughts, freezing rain and all sorts of constant threats and changes in its surrounding environment, it remains firmly rooted, or grounded. doTERRA Balance, the Grounding Blend, has a similar effect on us.  It allows us to "swing with the breeze" in stormy situations.

Balance always makes me think of stability and equilibrium. So then when might you reach for your Balance rollerball or perhaps add six to eight drops to your diffuser? When you're feeling unsettled, restless, angry, hurt, scattered, troubled, exhausted, anxious, you name it.  Whenever the world just isn't feeling quite right or you're not feeling altogether okay, Balance will ground you within minutes.

How you choose to use Balance depends on your personal preference, but I prefer to put about 25 - 30 drops in a rollerball and top it off with Fractionated Coconut Oil.  A $20 bottle of Balance will make about a dozen rollerballs and that’s a good thing because you’ll probably want to keep them handy on your desk, in the car, in your kids' backpacks, the bathroom vanity, your kitchen, your mudroom, your workshop or anywhere else emotions tend to be unpredictable.

Diffusing Balance will naturally purify the air in your home or office.  It’s a blend of Spruce, Ho Wood, Frankincense, Blue Tansy and Blue Chamomile and is actually deep blue in color.

Balance happens to smell nothing short of amazing and because it has a woodsy, earthy aroma with hints of pine, it's perfect for both men and women.  And screaming toddlers. Also screaming adults. Adolescents prone to mood swings or fits of rage. Teenagers prone to over-react.  Someone in the throes of a meltdown. Elderly people who just need a bit of centering. EVERYONE can benefit from Balance!
